Nikon D3200

The Nikon WU-1A is a wireless adapter designed to work exclusively with the Nikon D3200 DSLR. It features wifi B,G, and N; while it is priced relatively low at $59.99 USD I still feel this capability should be built into the D3200. Currently it is only compatible with the Android OS but an iOS compatible app will be released later this fall (2012). Despite my limited experience with the Android OS I was able to get it up and running quickly. Transfer rate was fast even when shooting in raw; the app allows you to shoot with the camera controls or take control of the camera via your smart device. Images are stored on your memory card while simultaneously being transferred to your smart device. The interface is simple and does not allow for manual adjustment of camera settings. With the capabilities of this device it's hard to imagine that the similar module for the D4 (WT-5a) costs 10 times as much!
