This video was recorded on a Nikon D3200 camera recording at 1080p 30fps, then cropped to 720p using Sony Vegas Pro 12.0 editor... trial #1. Known problems... I need to record from a higher vantage point so I don't record the back of someones head. I must somehow accommodate for the bright stage lights while recording. Faces on stage are very washed out. I'm sure I'll figure it out after a couple more weekends of recording. Also, the first minute and some odd seconds of audio was from the Nikon camera's microphone. The sound guys were not recording the audio podcast yet. You will hear a definite sound quality improvement once I blended in the audio from the weekly audio podcast @ 1:19. So, if you see this video and have suggestions for making the quality better, please comment here or chase me down at church. I'm really interested to see how well the video plays from slow internet connections (1mb download or less).

Testing out the camera mount in my Acura TL with the Nikon D3200 and EM-1 Microphone.
Through a number of images and a few video clips I show you what Nikon's Nikkor lenses with VR image stabilization can do for you in terms of effectiveness at reducing shakiness at a focal length of 300mm. I'm using my Nikkor 18-300mm zoom lens to test the vibration reduction (VR) image stabilization feature. Every picture was taken at a focal length of 300mm and at varying shutter speeds, but even some as low as 1/13 and 1/15 of a second. And I was holding the camera in my hands and it was cold outside, so my hands were shaking a bit. Recorded with the Nikon D3200 Edited in Adobe Premiere Elements 10.0 Enjoy -Derek

This was my second ever Urban Downhill race, with the first being Lyttleton www.youtube.com Great event, with an electric atmosphere, technical track(albeit a little less than urban at times :) ) and all the boys/girls having a good time. The weather was a bit touch and go, but the luckily the rain came down hard just after the last rider crossed the line! I was racing, so this was Agata's first time behind the video camera, but she did an exceptional job of capturing the action, considering we only had time for a quick 30 second tutorial on shutter speeds, panning, DOF, lense selection and manual focusing! Shot on Nikon D3200 with kit 18-55mm, Sigma 80-300mm, Samyang 8mm Fish-eye, Go Pro HD, Go Pro HD2 and one bent tripod leg thanks to Mr. Over the bars :)
Unboxing my new Camera the Nikon D3200 with the 18-55mm lens kit included. Can't wait to go back to Thailand and get some great shots with this. Sorry I have not had so many videos lately but as I have been researching new Cameras since my previous one I was using for Youtube broke, I have not been able to make any game unboxings or related videos but now with this we can get back to normal guys.
