This was my second ever Urban Downhill race, with the first being Lyttleton www.youtube.com Great event, with an electric atmosphere, technical track(albeit a little less than urban at times :) ) and all the boys/girls having a good time. The weather was a bit touch and go, but the luckily the rain came down hard just after the last rider crossed the line! I was racing, so this was Agata's first time behind the video camera, but she did an exceptional job of capturing the action, considering we only had time for a quick 30 second tutorial on shutter speeds, panning, DOF, lense selection and manual focusing! Shot on Nikon D3200 with kit 18-55mm, Sigma 80-300mm, Samyang 8mm Fish-eye, Go Pro HD, Go Pro HD2 and one bent tripod leg thanks to Mr. Over the bars :)

Me and daniel went to the gym to practice some freerunning. i was trying back flips into the foam pit and daniel doing trying double front flips. at the end daniel was practicing for their preformance at pandies funeral! The first week of October I had the opportunity to travel to north Alabama and interview, film, and just hang out with some amazing musicians. The Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Convention is held every year on the first full weekend of October on the campus of Athens State University in Athens Alabama, and the event really has two sides; one is the competitions that take place over the two days, but then the other is the unscripted jam sessions that form up all over the campus. I've been several years, but never shot any video of the festival, this year however my cousin Michael Williams and his friends Houston Barbee, Andrew Walker, Cliff Bailey, and Brandon Bounds entered the Bluegrass Band category. Here is a very small slice of the festival, and Bluegrass music in general. Shot on a Nikon D3200, and edited in Adobe Premier.
