www.learningdslrvideo.com I want to do a shoot out between the Canon T3i and the Nikon D5100 but I hit somewhat of a road block on setting the exposure for video mode for the Nikon. I did a lot of research around the web and it appears you can manual set exposure for the D7100 but not D5100. However it appears in the video that I got it to work. If there are any Nikon people out there that know if I did this correctly let me know.

I've looked everywhere online for a complete walk-through of the video settings, restrictions and limitations of the Nikon D7000 camera, but didn't find anything that told me everything I wanted to know. So I bought this camera, used it for multiple video projects, then put this little ditty together for you. The D7000 shoots full 1080p video at 24fps, has manual video controls and is a great option for people who want to use the Nikon system (including all those yummy manual Nikon lenses without having to use adapters).
