Settings 6.0MP 1080P 24. A very cold North West wind hit me in the face from across the River Severn. Back ground sound from passing vehicles on the A48 Nr Minsterworth and wind noise are fairly audible at this location. I was also stood close to some cows and a busy farm behind me with a tractor moving animal feed. D3200 is a very good Video Camera even in low light. Compare the keyboardist with only small light, and the singer with almost no light (only ambient light). Still amazing..... Also the sound is a respectable stereo with HIFI quality...

This is a band I shot at the Howl At The Moon Club at Universal Citywalk, Hollywood. I knew that I would have some low light (video noise) issues going into it. I set the iso at 1600 and the aperture at f2.8. Audio was captured with a Rode stereo video mic plugged into the audio input on the D3200. In post I edited the video in Final Cut Express on the Mac. I used several video filters to clean up the video noise: sharpen, brightness/contrast etc. For the audio I used the following filters: parametric equalizer, 3 band equalizer and expander/noise gate. I was pleased with the finished video and it looks good for a beginner dslr. The lens was a nikon 50mm 1.8G.

I just got this camera an hour ago, I think it's a perfect time to test it to see how it performs . Is it better than canon 650D or Nikon d3200? I have no idea. I almost bought 650d if this one was not in the store. One thing that I know, with 18-135 you can use it in any condition, snow, hiking, rain or dry. I will try later in the day time, as the autofocus is useless at night.
