Some of the photos are a little faded from processing; the quality is much better. Buy this lens IF: -You want lots of Bokeh -Great depth of field -Lots of detail and crisp shots -Great for portraits -Cheap $200 CONS -No zoom -plasticky -cheap feeling for some users; for me, it's perfectly fine I keep this lens on all the time; a must have for all DSLR users. This is a short test video of the Nikon D3200 in 1080p/30fps. The lens for this test is an older af macro nikkor 60mm 1:2.8 D. Because the D3200 doesn't have a focus motor built into the body I had to shoot manual with this particular lens. Newer G type lenses will auto focus on the D3200. I used a Rode microphone for the mic input. There is a little bit of noise because the camera doesn't have agc (automatic gain control). A digital audio recorder would be beneficial for cleaner recordings. I edited this with Final Cut Express on the Mac. Every time I imported a D3200 clip into the bin the program crashed. I imported the clips into imovie, exported them as an xml file and imported that into Final Cut Express. Problem solved. When shooting video and using live view the battery will drain rather quickly so stock up. The camera uses the same battery as the D3100. I am very pleased with the camera. It is an exceptional value for the price and the photographs are phenomenal. If you don't like ads give me a "like"!
