Here is a quick sample I did with my D600 after having massive problems in direct sunlight when it (the sun) shone directly into the viewfinder. As I didn't have similar problems with any other camera before (Canon 5D Mark II/III, 7D, Nikon D3200 or Nikon D800) I contacted Nikon and they told me that it isn't supposed to be light tight and that I should use the eyepiece cover. They although can't tell me if it's normal for the D600 or not without seeing my camera. I tried the same test seen in this small video with a D800 on last weekend and guess what: no problems like this!

The footage is being played back at 24fps, or 0.4x the original speed, which isn't drastically slower, but it still looks pretty awesome. Testing my new Canon 600D/EOS Rebel T3i on 720p/60fps using the 18-55mm kit lens. My Hauppauge HD PVR finally cooked itself after 3 years of use..already ordered a new one. God damn I'm a financial slave to my hobby lol.

I got a new camera, it was either the D3200 or D3100 with a 200 quid difference...glad i went with the D3200 because of its 24 megapixel camera!
