Testing out my new Nikon D3200 with optional Nikon ME-1 microphone. I manually focused using the supplied kit lens. Downsized to 720p for size considerations.
I just bought the D3200 mostly for video. This is a quick test to see the quality of it. I must say it's very good for the price, and it's also good for photos. I shoot with a D300s but this one is so much practical when it comes to shoot amateur, snapshots, or anything that doesn't require the power of a semi-pro or pro camera. Great piece of equipment. At the end of the video you can see how I shot it.

Nikon D3200 50fps Slow Motion Video Test. A Jamaican cyclist who my family was housing and I were messing around hitting cans with a bat and shooting misshapen apples with a UTG L96/MK96 Airsoft Gun. This video is played back at 25fps, so 1/2 of the original speed. The footage looks fantastic and cinema-like. I Got This Lense for my birthday and was really impressed with the performace of it so am not gonna do the unboxing thing jus gonna let the footage speak for its self. Need to Change it to the 1.8G so that i can use the autofocus but will image the G will be better than the D slightly.

This was a surprise announcement from Nikon a few months back and I have to say its a very interesting lens. This lens is designed for FX camera but being that it is an AFS it will work on ALL DX camera bodies. Though I will say I think it performs much better on the full frame sensor. This lens feels very light but it still feels well built. You have one switch on the side that allows you to go from AF to M. There is a simple large focus ring and pretty much not much more on the lens. One very important feature of this lens is that it has Nano Coating. Nano coating is a special coating on the lens elements that pretty much negates all lens flair. You can honestly point it right at the sun or a bright light and never see any issues with flaring. At $699.99 this is a pro lens geared toward that professional photographer who is looking for a light fast aperture lens in their bag. This honestly is not a portrait lens but it is great for photo journalistic work. If you are looking to crush the background of a photo, dial down to 1.8 fill the grame with your subject and boom, the background butters away. For those who are on DX camera the effective focal length of this lens is 42mm which is ok but not as special as what it is full frame, 28mm. I would not fully recommend this on a DX body unless you already own all of the other staple <b>...</b>
