This video shows me live remixing one of my latest productions, YuckyMouth. I produced the music in Ableton Live and Logic 9 using one of my QuNei, then broke the song into instrument groups and song sections arranged in Session mode as a mega-set. I then programmed 56 MIDI output tracks with 10 clips on each track (yep, that's 560 MIDI clips) to control all of the lights on 2 QuNeos. I set up a series of follow actions that trigger the lights to change at 4, 8, or 16 bars. One QuNeo (my right hand) is being used mainly as a clip launcher while the other is mainly for FX (3 FX Macros with a wide variety of FX, also 8 instances of Sugar Bytes' awesome Effectrix) controlled by note on and pressure info. I also programmed a couple of virtual scratch trax I can ad-lib over the beat with. I am also dropping samples, whooshes, vocal snippets and filter sweeps while triggering different song parts on the fly. I am using the Ableton preset which I modified to get a little more out of, and two custom presets to control everything else. I have also created a video-trigger/FX controller config that I didn't show due to time restraints and copyright stuff (movie clips, visuals ,etc.), and I even have a custom preset built on one of my QuNei that I use to control aspects of Photoshop CS5, Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Flash, iTunes, and even Safari. These 2 little magic tablets have replaced 7 controllers and where I used to always be running out of knobs, sliders, pedals and buttons to <b>...</b>
