A test of the Nikon D3200 video capabilities. I had borrowed this camera and had not read the manual, but within about 3 minutes I was enjoying the functions and learning to focus. The camera shoots nice 1080p in quicktime. Clarity and color are good. I was using the stock telephoto lens that comes with the package when you purchase. I edited this in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. You'll need a windscreen and separate microphone to shoot much if the wind is up. It was probably 8-10 mph as I shot this video. My verdict is that this is pretty nice video. I'm new at these types of effects so focused primarily on setup, positioning, cuts and edits. It was a lot easier handling and masking the smoke than the flames. Again I'm new at this so please judge the quality of the effects with a grain of salt as it is the first time I've tried this type of effect. This is a VFX Composite Video using smoke and fire from Action Essentials 2. Based on the Fire Hands video from Freddie Wong and other youtubers. Video was shot on Nikon D3200 and edited in Premier with Composite VFX done in Adobe After Effects.
