I was eager to test out how much noise the "quiet" 40mm f2.8 STM made compared to a classic Canon 50mm f1.8. The AF is fast and it looks pretty good, but there is still too much noise, external mic will be needed. Will test the Canon 18-135 STM whenever its available. If you're looking for a dslr just for video stuff then this would be a great starting point. Obviously D3200 doesn't have the greatest ISO performance so at night you it's going to be challenging. It's good if you're just starting out and later you can upgrade it to full frame sensor dslr. Equipment used: DSLR - Nikon D3200 with the kit lens.
